Absolute Beginners is our new acts and new material night. Held every Monday, it features a blend of new comedians taking their first faltering steps on the comedy ladder, and those with a little more experience trying to develop their sets a little further. From time to time we have even had big name touring comedians come in to try to iron out a few kinks in their new material.And if all this weren’t enough, the night is topped off with a performance by a quality headline act. And all this for the princely sum of two pounds, or just one if you are a student.
If you are looking for good comedy at an affordable price, this is the night for you. We will be moving to our new venue, The Beehive Inn, 18-20 The Grassmarket, from February 2nd, and every Monday from then on at 8.00pm.
