A night of new acts, plus new material more established comics, top and tailed with an experienced MC and headline act. From Absolute Beginners (hence the name) to some of the absolute best names in Scottish comedy trying out new stuff, this face-paced and varied show has something for everyone.
At just £2 – it works out at the equivalent of just 20 pence per act - now that’s what we call value for money!

This is our new material night for established acts. Acts on this night are actively encouraged to try out new material. It gets tough out there - come and see them at the coleface of the creative process.

This is a professional night of comedy with five fantastic acts from around the UK comedy scene, hosted by Miss Fit O’ The Giggles herself, Keara Murphy.
